In-house engineered solution for shipping subsea cables proves value again
Wagenborg has successfully transported 360 km of array cables from the cable manufacturer in Greece to the port of Blyth in the UK. The subsea cables are destined for an offshore wind farm on the UK side of the Southern North Sea.
Mobilization pontoon marks start of Wagenborg's first decommissioning project
Today marks a significant milestone in the decommissioning of the G14B offshore platform located in the North Sea, as Wagenborg successfully started to mobilize the pontoon 'Wagenborg Barge 11' in her homeport Delfzijl for this task. This event is the first major step in fulfilling the recent decommissioning contract awarded by ENI to Wagenborg, highlighting the company's expertise and commitment to sustainable practices in the energy sector.

Máxima big crowd pleaser during successful Delfsail 2024
From 13 to 16 June, the seventh edition of Delfsail was organised in Delfzijl. As one of the main sponsors of the largest maritime event in the North, Wagenborg was closely involved in the four-day programme. The arrival of Queen Máxima for the christening of the 'Alexia' and the 'Máxima' and the fact that the latter ship was open to the public made Delfsail 2024 a great success. Wagenborg secures its first decommissioning project for topside and jacket transportation
Wagenborg has achieved a significant milestone by securing its first decommissioning project for the transportation of a North Sea platform, formerly operated by Eni Energy Netherlands, to Eemshaven. This landmark project involves the engineering and building of a grillage in combination with the delivery of a barge and a tug. In an industry marked by an increasing demand to bring back production locations to their original state, this project demonstrates Wagenborg's commitment to support energy majors with a variety of specialistic decommissioning services.
