Our approach on ESG

Royal Wagenborg takes firm responsibility towards the society and environment we operate in. This belief has been part of our company’s DNA from its early beginnings resulting in our mission to make our business more sustainable every day.

We launched our ESG strategy in early 2022. Building on many years of sustainability progress, our strategy today charts an even more ambitious course: it establishes ESG as core to our purpose and intrinsic to our strategy and operations. Our ESG strategy is centred around three core commitments: Environment, Social and Governance.

Our stakeholders expect us to take action on the topics they care about and where Wagenborg has the ability to make a difference. When defining our sustainability priorities, we focus on various key stakeholder groups: our customers, employees, investors, supplier and business partners, authorities, local communities and the environment.

Experts across our organisation continually engage with these groups, incorporating their input and feedback in the identification of material issues that we address as a company.
