Fueled by green GTL fuel our walk to work vessels are a sustainable solution. Having both a Fast Rescue Craft and Daughter Craft aboard the Walk to work vessel will significantly improve the ability to operate. These autonomous boats make it possible for the walk to work vessel to stay at your offshore location for longer periods of time, transferring technicians and cargo safely.

12 November 2024 INEOS and Royal Wagenborg sign multi-year contract for CO2 carrier in the presence of HM King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands and HM King Frederik of Denmark

Today, in the presence of HM King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands and HM King Frederik of Denmark INEOS and Royal Wagenborg have signed a landmark agreement on the delivery of a new build CO₂ carrier. This vessel, based on Wagenborg’s award-winning EasyMax design, will be built by shipyard Royal Niestern Sander and marks a significant step towards advancing carbon capture and storage (CCS) within the European Union.

01 October 2024 Crane installation on offshore vessel Kingsborg for decommissioning project

Recently, an active heave compensated subsea offshore crane was installed successfully on the offshore vessel KINGSBORG. The installation was performed at the Royal Niestern Sander shipyard in the port of Delfzijl. Starting mid-October, the KINGSBORG will embark on a decommissioning project on the North Sea.

21 August 2024 Progress update on Wagenborg's first decommissioning project

Following the successful mobilisation of our WB11 barge, Wagenborg's first decommissioning project has reached its next milestone. In the early hours of Sunday, the 18th of August, the WB11 barge received the topside of the G14-B platform during a complex heavy lift operation. The topside, weighing approximately 1,000 tonnes, was safely secured on the barge, showcasing the engineering expertise and seamless teamwork that are the hallmarks of our operations.
