Construction EasyMax 4 in full swing

Two months after delivery of the “Amalia”, this new build dry cargo vessel will be the fourth vessel of this successful EasyMax series. The construction of the vessel started in summer 2023. Delivery is planned for Q3 2024.

The EasyMax concept is a multi-purpose vessel with a load capacity of 14,000 tons and was developed by Royal Wagenborg and Niestern Sander. Wagenborg was awarded the KVNR Maritime Shipping Award for this ship design in 2017, partly due to its superior fuel efficiency. The sister vessels “Egbert Wagenborg” and “Máxima” have now proven to be a sustainable and successful type of ship and will continue to contribute, together with the recent delivered “Amalia” and its future sister, to the position of Wagenborg Shipping as a leading multi-purpose shipping company.’
