Wagenborg proudly announces that its vessel Eemsborg has made the first ocean-going arrival of the season in the Port of Hamilton, marking the official start of the 2025 Great Lakes shipping season. Captain Shang and his crew of the MV Eemsborg earned the ceremonial ‘Top Hat’ distinction as the first ship in Hamilton port to import cargo, with the ship arriving March 26 with a load of steel. Wagenborg Celebrates 10 Years of Walk to Work Operations in the North Sea

Masterful transport of immense lock gates by Wagenborg
For the construction of a new lock complex in Brunsbüttel, Germany, Wagenborg recently transported three new lock gates in Emden. On three consecutive days, these lock gates with a total weight of over 2,500 tons each were driven out of the manufacturing hall. For this, Wagenborg deployed no less than 136 axle lines of SPMT. In the course of this year, Wagenborg will ship the lock doors by pontoon to their final destination.
