15 June 2021 ‘Green’ updates for m.v. Warnowborg during docking period

In the last two weeks, the m.v. Warnowborg was docked. During this docking period various ‘green updates’ were made to this geared 8.600 DWCC multipurpose vessel. Thanks to a great effort of the Wagenborg crew, technical shore support and the shipyard, the Warnowborg is ready for the upcoming years of services.

08 March 2021 Adriaticborg, Fraserborg and Wislaborg provided with ballast water treatment system

Currently, the BLRT Repair Yard in Tallinn is having four of our MPP vessels for regular maintenance: Adriaticborg, Exeborg, Wislaborg and Fraserborg. In addition, in three of these vessels, a ballast water treatment system will be installed.

26 February 2021 SCR system on tugboat 'Waterpoort' reduces nitrogen by up to 85%

Recently, a so-called Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system was installed in the oldest Wagenborg tugboat 'Waterpoort' - built in 1962 and equipped with an old Stork Werkspoor engine. With this catalytic converter behind the engine, exhaust gases are treated, so that nitrogen (NOx) is captured.

21 December 2020 A retrospect on 2020

Nobody could have predicted how turbulent the past months would be. So many otherwise stable factors have become disrupted, leading to uncertainty which can easily become paralysing. But that is our worst-case scenario. We need to move on, building on our assets and on our abilities.
