17 April 2020 MV Eeborg 1st Wagenborg vessel in the Lakes for 2020

The MV Eeborg is the first vessel for Wagenborg on the Great Lakes in the 2020 season after the locks system had been closed since mid-January for its annual winter maintenance work. After discharging ferro alloys in Montreal, the MV Eeborg is heading for Windsor to load 9.750 tonnes of soybean meal for Europe.

With Wagenborg’s leading position in the shipping and logistics market, the expansion of agency services to Terneuzen is a valuable addition to Wagenborg’s network of serviced ports. Last week, the Holmen Carrier MV Exporter and Wagenborg's MV Bothniaborg called this port under the agency of Wagenborg Agencies Terneuzen.

At the Royal Niestern Sander shipyard, Wagenborg has transported the fore ship section of EasyMax 2 from the construction hall to the quay side. Yard number 851 for Royal Wagenborg and affiliated partners is the second vessel of the type Easymax.

Several Wagenborg companies have announced that they will donate FFP mouth masks, safety glasses and disposable coveralls at a central collection point in Groningen. From here, distribution can take place to hospitals, clinics, doctor's practices, health services and municipal authorities in the north of the Netherlands.

Yesterday, the vessel Yed Prior arrived in the port of Delfzijl after a stop in the port of Harlingen under agency of Wagenborg. Upon arrival, the Yed Prior received port assistance of the a Wagenborg tug to safely berth at the quay side.
