Subsea support vessel Kingsborg taken into service after conversion project
Wagenborg Offshore has taken a subsea support vessel into service as Kingsborg. Kingsborg is a custom-made and specialized offshore vessel that will support subsea activities and decommissioning works in the southern North Sea in a long-term agreement with an energy major.
ASD tug 'WATERSTRAAT' ready for another 5 years of service after maintenance and updates
Recently, the ASD tug Waterstraat has been taken into service again after her third special survey. During a period of maintenance, the 60 ton bollard pull tug boat received a variety of maintenance works and updates on the hull, machinery, equipment and systems. These investments guarantee at least five more years of reliable towing services for our customers.
Wagenborg adds another 80 ton bollard pull tug to fleet in Eemshaven
Wagenborg has purchased an ASD 3280 Tug, which will be available shortly. With this new tug, Wagenborg further strengthens its position in the towage market in Northwest Europe.
Jan De Nul Group awarded Wagenborg Towage as logistic supplier for monopiles Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3
Wagenborg Towage is proud to announce Jan De Nul Group has chosen our offshore project support for transporting 107 monopile foundations for Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farms to Eemshaven. Assisted by the tug ‘WATERLINES’, the first transports arrived in Eemshaven under agency of Wagenborg.
Wagenborg assists first LNG tanker in Eemshaven after start EemsEnergy Terminal
On the 8th of September the LNG tanker ‘Murex’ arrived in Eemshaven under agency of Wagenborg. Assisted by multiple tugs - including the Wagenborg tugs Waterlines, Waterstraat and Waterstroom – the first LNG tanker moored successfully at the Wagenborg terminal with the assistance of the Wagenborg tug boats.
Wagenborg welcomes first floating LNG facility in Eemshaven
On Sunday, September 4, the Floating Storage Regassification Unit (FSRU) ‘Golar Igloo’ arrived in the Eemshaven under the agency of Wagenborg at the end of the afternoon. This floating LNG facility receives port assistance of multiple ASD tug boats including the ‘Waterlines’, ‘Waterstraat’ and ‘Waterstroom’. ‘Golar Igloo’ was moored safely in the Wilhelminahaven.
