Towage transport jacket Deutsche Bucht to Eemshaven

Recently, the Wagenborg Barge 9, loaded with a jacket, arrived in the Eemshaven. The pontoon was moored in the Julianahaven under the agency of Wagenborg with the assistance of the tug boats Waterstraat and Waterstroom.

The jacket is destined for the offshore wind park Deutsche Bucht, which is currently under construction at 95 km northwest of Borkum. The jacket was loaded earlier in Vlissingen on the Wagenborg pontoon at the site of the manufacturer. Due to the bad weather, the towing transport could not sail directly to the installation location and therefore sheltered in Eemshaven.
