Progress update on Wagenborg's first decommissioning project

Following the successful mobilisation of our WB11 barge, Wagenborg's first decommissioning project has reached its next milestone. In the early hours of Sunday, the 18th of August, the WB11 barge received the topside of the G14-B platform during a complex heavy lift operation. The topside, weighing approximately 1,000 tonnes, was safely secured on the barge, showcasing the engineering expertise and seamless teamwork that are the hallmarks of our operations.

The jacket of the platform is set to follow later, marking the next phase of this decommissioning project. Meanwhile, the Rambiz, along with both tugs and the WB11 barge, have safely arrived in Eemshaven, as planned.

This project highlights Wagenborg's broad range of services and our tailor-made solutions. Our project management team continues to ensure the decommissioning process runs smoothly, demonstrating our entrepreneurship in the field of offshore engineering and decommissioning.
