First monopiles and transition pieces for Borkum Riffgrund II delivered
Last weekend the tugboats Waterman and Waterstroom entered the Eemshaven with Wagenborg Barge 7 with the first load of monopiles and transition pieces for the Borkum Riffgrund II project.
The first heavy parts have since been transhipped from the pontoon on the jack-up vessel Vole au Vent of Jan de Nul Group.
The monopiles and transition pieces are manufactured in Nordenham, Germany. In the upcoming weeks, Wagenborg will transport a total of 36 monopiles, 36 transition pieces and 36 anode cases to the Eemshaven in twelve journeys.
